No, No. I’m not upset about mine dropping, because honestly without clicking on the “tumblarity” page I don’t even know if it has or not.
Here’s the thing. I hate it. Ever since tumblarity came about, the amount of shiz flooding my dashboard has freaking skyrocketed. And not the good shiz. I miss the good old days when Quality>Quantity. Because now-a-days the shiz factor on my dashboard is so high, I can only click back 2-3 pages before I get bored… and then I end up missing any of the good stuff that might be in there somewhere.
I know what you’re thinking… Just unfollow right? WRONG. Because see, it usually goes a little something like this. WOW this person is annoying. If I see one more dumb thing they’re getting the ol’ unfollow button. But then.. HOLY CRAP THAT IS AMAZING (like button) then I glance over and it was posted by the person that just posted all that other bull crap. So then I’m like, yeah, but if I unfollow them, I’ll miss the stuff like this. and this is incredible. I’ll stick with ‘em for a bit longer. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
So basically what I’m saying is that now when I log into tumblr, instead of 10 pages of stuff that inspires me, is super neat, makes me laugh or is just plain adorable… I get 984,745 pages of bull crap with the good stuff thrown in there somewhere. And I’m not about to sort that out.
I’d end this with a plea for people to stop caring about what that stupid little number says, but I know that will never happen. So in the mean time I’ll waste my time playing Draw My Thing (thanks walpaper) and leave tumblr for when I’m bored enough to make clicking through my dash worth it.
i agree. i hate tumblarity, but i care about # of followers/likes, only because it let’s me know people are actually interested in what i’m posting. sorry if i flood your dash.
but on a side note… seriously,we have to play draw my thing sometime. i haven’t been on omgpop in a long time! although i’m kind of in the mood for balloono.
